Introducing A TreeHouse Bed and Breakfast

"Bauhaus Mood, Zen Spirit"

"A Rather Unique 4****Star Experience"

Hosting Guests in An Energy Star Home for 22+ Years

Guests often ask us why our B&B is called TreeHouse? And what does Bauhaus Mood, Zen Spirit mean?

The B&B is nestled amidst a stand of 8-10 Douglas Fir and Western Red Cedar trees over 80 feet tall. The air is fresh and clean. There are nesting (20+ years) bald eagles within eyesight. Being interested in modern architecture and Asian ambience, we have tried to create a uncluttered space of serenity and calm.

The abundance of windows and decks creates openness with views of our beautiful trees. The light colored interior walls create a backdrop for some of our favourite paintings and sculptures.

We realize that our guests need more than interesting Bauhaus architecture and a woodland setting, so we offer beautifully appointed rooms and suites. Every amenity that you would expect is provided so that you can have a great night’s sleep and wake to our legendary gourmet breakfast. We also offer continental self-serve breakfasts whenever you want or box breakfasts to take with you. Whichever you choose, all breakfasts are ample, wholesome, and lovingly prepared with organic and local ingredients.

As you can imagine for a bed and breakfast named TreeHouse, we are committed to reducing our carbon footprint. We recycle all (organic and inorganic) that we can. We have been using cotton and canvas shopping bags for 25+ years. Our commitment to sustainability and reduced consumption is reflected in the design of our Energy Star property.

TreeHouse is located in the upscale neighborhood of Kerrisdale and is close to the downtown business area, the University of British Columbia, Granville Island, and YVR with public transportation available within our block.

We invite you to discover the many local, multicultural restaurants and shops, or to go for a stroll to nearby Southlands Farms or Pacific Spirit Park, special places unknown to many Vancouver visitors and residents.

We are delighted to help you plan your itinerary and a sparkling Vancouver experience, to be your gateway to other areas of British Columbia, or to just be your home away from home.

Our desire is that you leave us excited about your new discoveries and experiences in Vancouver and that you are inspired by the warmth and hospitality you have received.
